DECODING THE MESSIANIC MYSTERY OF THE FIRST TEN NAMES IN HEBREW HISTORY
We believe that Chuck Missler, a brilliant Bible expositor, discovered just such a code regarding Jesus' lineage and purpose for coming as a suffering Messiah. We would like to point out that the very meanings of the Jewish names of our original ancestors reveal God's plan to send His suffering Messiah who would die for us.
Missler points out that: "In Hebrew: Adam means 'man'; Seth means 'appointed'; Enosh means 'mortal'; Kenan means 'sorrow'; Mahalalel means 'the blessed God'; Jared means 'shall come down'; Enoch means 'teaching'; Methuselah means 'his death shall bring'; Lamech means 'the despairing'; and Noah means 'rest' or 'comfort.'"
Reading this genealogy of names as a sentence, translating them from Hebrew to English, we get: "Man is appointed mortal sorrow. The blessed God shall come down, teaching that His death shall bring the despairing comfort." This, indirectly but clearly, shows that the God Incarnate Messiah would give His life for us, as Jesus did.
In an extremely interesting example of the Old Testament's affirmation of the New Testament, we recall a code of three words found in the book of Leviticus! Leviticus 21:10, a passage which deals with the High Priest of Israel who offered sacrifices on the altar of the temple for the sins of the people reveals the words "Hain Dam Yeshua": Behold Jesus' Blood at three-letter intervals.

In the Old Testament book of Ruth, which deals with David's ancestry, which is that of Jesus, the opening verse has Jesus' Hebrew name Yeshua encoded at five-letter intervals.

About the Author
Philip Nicholas Moore was born in Atlanta, Georgia in 1957. For many years, he studied Greek in Atlanta and Hebrew at Ulpan Etzion in Jerusalem. He spent eight years in Israel researching ancient Jewish beliefs and dedicated several years to researching the theological manuscripts of Isaac Newton at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
Moore was a volunteer at the army base, Base Machena Natan, in Beersheba, Israel. He was also a volunteer on the Temple Mount excavation with archaeologists Elat and Binyamin Mazar, which yielded the discovery of the "first Temple gateway" in 1986.
For several years, Moore assisted in research for the well known Christian author Hal Lindsey. From 1988 to 1990, Moore was instrumental in the Hebrew dubbing and release of a Genesis Project film for C.C.C. in Jerusalem.
Presently, Philip Moore, residing in Atlanta, Georgia is under consideration for a doctorate degree by Immanuel Bible College and Baptist Seminary and is completing research for his sixth book, Israel and the Apocalypse Prophecies of Newton. The biblical indication that Israelis will have control of Petra at the time of the Antichrist's desecration of a future Temple, is indicated in the eleventh chapter of Isaiah. Edom and Moab are located in the same area as Petra, and God, speaking through Isaiah, foretold Israel becoming a state and gaining control of these two areas. The first part of this prophecy came true in 1948, when Israel's statehood became a reality! Isaiah foretold: "...he [God] shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth... they [Israel] shall lay their hand upon Edom and Moab, and the children of Ammon shall obey them" (Isaiah 11:12, 14 KJV).
Some believe Jeremiah 49:1-2 clearly refers to God's prophecy that the Israelis would take this area, once the dwelling place of Gad in Amman. The verses read: "What is this you are doing? Why are you living in the cities of the Jews? Aren't the Jews enough to fill them up? Didn't they inherit them from me? Why then have you, who worship Milcom, taken over Gad and all its cities? I will punish you for this, the Lord declares, by destroying your city of Rabbah. It shall become a desolate heap, and the neighboring towns shall be burned. Then Israel shall come and take back her land from you again. She shall dispossess those who dispossessed her, says the Lord" (The Living Bible).
This portion of the Bible proved even more interesting and convincing when we decoded the English language back to a very exact Hebrew text. Dr. J.H. Darby, in his commentary Bible points that Milcom is "the divinity of the Ammonites: see Amos 1.15; 5.26."
In the history of ancient Israel, the tribe of Gad had inhabited the land on the east side of what is today Jordan, the site of Amman, which is the present capital of Jordan. The city of Amman is named for "Rabbah," which was the capital city of the ancient Ammonites. Today, bearing the modern name of Amman, it's the same city. In this verse it is said that God is talking to the king of the Ammonites (whoever is king of Jordan as the time Israel takes it over), asking him why he inherited Gad's (Israel's) territory. The Scripture goes on to explain God's future judgement on the Ammonites (Jordanians). This judgement will be an Israeli take-over of the area of Petra and the surrounding area--Jordan--for use as protection from the Antichrist and the hostile armies in the last war!
