The End of History—Messiah Conspiracy

CHAPTER 30—New Heavens and a New Earth

“For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.” Isaiah 65:17-19 KJV

“...we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth....Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace....” II Peter 3:13-14 KJV

“And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.” Revelation 21:1-6 KJV

30
NEW HEAVENS AND A NEW EARTH

When the end of the 1000-year kingdom is reached, there will be a judgment of the unbelievers from every era, known as the Great White Throne, on which Daniel and Jesus elaborate considerably.1 After this judgment is conducted, the present Heaven and Earth are transformed by fire into a new eternal form.
In his inspired writings, the apostle Peter graphically describes the way God terminates the millennium in order to make room for the eternal kingdom, known to us as the New Heavens (universe) and Earth. “But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance” (II Pet. 3:7-9 KJV).

PETER PROPHESIED THE POWER OF ATOMS

The phrase “stored with fire” illustrates that Peter, although not knowledgeable himself about the atom, accurately described the immense power stored within it, which when split, emits much heat and fire, thus causing the disintegration of matter. Peter continues: “But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness. Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness” (II Pet. 3:10-13 KJV).

Here, in what God inspired Peter to reveal to us, we have the explanation of how God creates room for us to live in His New Earth! It is interesting to note that we could not have clearly understood these verses until the age of Einstein, nearly 2000 years after they were inscribed on papyrus. Through our modern understanding of nuclear physics, we can grasp something of God’s description to Peter of the immense heat and fire released when He explodes every atom.
2 Furthermore, we now know Einstein was not the first to realize the power of the atom. We see it was also encoded by God in the Holy Scriptures long ago.

Since the Godhead is three in one, we present a diagram of an atom with three electrons in orbit around its nucleus, which contains protons and neutrons. Notice that the inner design forms the six-pointed Star of David. Notice also that the Star of David is composed of a triangle pointing up toward God, and another pointing down toward man. A triangle has three sides, illustrating man’s complete essence of: 1. mind; 2. body; 3. spirit; which were made in God’s image. God is also one, yet three at the same time (Gen. 1:26).
3 In the Old Testament, Isaiah 48:16 relates, in God’s own words: “Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord God [Father], and his Spirit [“Holy Spirit,” in Hebrew, Rauch ha Kodesh], hath sent me [Messiah]” (KJV; [ ] mine).
Remember, the Messiah, who is said to be both man and God, would comprise both of these triangles which are interlocked in the Star of David (“shield of David” in Hebrew). Megan David A, David’s true shield, was Messiah. The very phrase, “Son of David,” is in itself, a Messianic idiom. The Messiah created every atom. “He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not” (John 1:10 KJV). Therefore, as you can see, His emblem is inscribed
4 in this molecular diagram designed by twentieth century science! We also believe He will recreate all matter in the new universe (Rev. 21)!

T

In modern Israel, some religious Jews believe that the ancient Jewish King, David, signed his name with this star. The ancient Hebrew daled is shaped like a triangle, and the Hebrew name David has two D’s! If you have ever seen a Messianic Jew wearing a Star of David with a cross inside, its origin was in the ancient name of David itself; for, 3000 years ago, David’s name was not spelled dwd but T. If you invert the daleds over each other, placing the vav in the center, you get A. The cross, as you can see, bridges the gap between the God and man triangles—reconciliation. Only Messiah, being both man and God (a kinsman redeemer), can reconcile man to God! As Hal Lindsey puts it: “...the redeemer had to be ‘next of kin’ to the human race. Hebrews 2:14,15 explains why this was so: ‘Since then the children [mankind] share in flesh and blood, He Himself likewise also partook of the same [flesh and blood], that through death He might render powerless him who had the power of death, that is, the devil; and might deliver those who through fear of death were subject to slavery all their lives.’
“You see, the price of redemption for man has always been the shed blood of an innocent substitute. Moses taught in the Law, ‘Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin’ (Hebrews 9:22). However, the blood of animals could never take the sin away; it only atoned for, or covered it, temporarily until God provided a complete remission of sins through His ultimate sacrifice of Jesus (Hebrews 10:11-14).
“But, since the redemption price had to be the shed blood of an innocent sacrifice, the redeemer had to be someone with blood in his veins who could actually experience death. In other words, a man, but one who was completely innocent of any sins.”

THE MOLECULAR TRANSFORMATION

The entire planet will undergo a molecular transformation of temporal material and natural substances into eternal, non-perishable elements! The grass, trees, animals, and of course, people, will not die or age, nor will it be possible to damage them. The entire planet will be breathtaking, refreshing, lush and green, full of beautiful plants, minerals and stones of perfection (no flawed diamonds), which will serve as the building materials in this new world! No more ugly cement, but diamonds, emeralds, rubies, sapphires, topaz, gold and many other precious materials will be used in building and construction. God will be our source of light (Isa. 60:19; Rev. 21:23) and the immortality of the Garden of Eden from before the Fall, will be restored and last forever! This might be the new physics Isaac Newton spoke of for the New Jerusalem
.6 Gravity, and other physical laws in force today, that many believe were the result of the Fall and which cause many undesirable effects on human life, will no longer be in effect! You will not walk off a building, fall and be crushed by gravity, as you would now.
The astrophysicist Hugh Ross noted on his April 29, 1995, broadcast, Reasons to Believe: “The law of decay will be taken away; the law of gravity will be taken away....it’s easy to see in picking our way through that twenty-first chapter [of Revelation] that the law of gravity has been replaced. The laws of thermodynamics have been replaced, and it’s the law of gravity and the laws of thermodynamics that cause things to wear down, cause order to evolve into disorder that results in the increase of chaos. That will be taken care of. There will be no decay, no wearing down from the laws of gravity and thermodynamics.”
7
The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, and even the ancient rabbinical writings, describe the glories of the New Heavens, Earth and Jerusalem, which we believe will become a reality within the next thirty years!

OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURE TRANSLATION

“O thou afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay thy stones with fair colours, and lay thy foundations with sapphires. And I will make thy windows of agates, and thy gates of carbuncles, and all thy borders of pleasant stones. And all thy children shall be taught of the Lord; and great shall be the peace of thy children....Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. Jerusalem is builded as a city that is compact together....”

Isaiah 54:11-13; Psalms 122:2-3 KJV

ANCIENT RABBINICAL COMMENTARY

“Elijah said: ‘I see a beautiful and great city descend from heaven, built up, as it is written, Jerusalem that art builded as a city that is compact together (Ps. 122:3). Built up and embellished, and her people dwell in her midst...and every ris comprises twenty-five thousand cubits of smaragds and precious stones and pearls....I see the houses and gates of the pious. Their lintels and sideposts are of precious stones, and the treasuries of the Sanctuary open right unto their doors.
And Tora and peace are among them....’ ”10

Sefer Eliahu, BhM 3:67-68

“In the future there will be found in Jerusalem ten kinds of precious stones, and they are: ruby, topaz, emerald, beryl, onyx, jasper, carbuncle, sapphire, diamond, and gold—these are ten. And the Holy One, blessed be He, will add to them two...and they are: kodkod and eqdah [different varieties of rubies and carbuncles].”11

Milhamot Melekh haMashiah, BhM 6:118

“In Jerusalem there will be in the future, three thousand towers....And seven walls will surround Jerusalem, of silver, of gold, of precious stones, of stibium, of sapphire, of chalcedony, and of fire. And its glow will light up the world from one end to the other. And the Temple will be built on four mountains, of purified gold, of clear gold, of drawn gold, and of Parwayim gold....And it will be set in sapphires and capped in greatness.”12 Pirqe Mashiah, BhM 3:74-75

NEW TESTAMENT TRANSLATED 96 AD

“And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel: On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb....And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald; The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.”

Revelation 21:10-14, 18-21 KJV

AUTHOR’S COMMENT—EVANGELICAL CHRISTIAN POSITION

We ask ourselves, “Can there be justice through stones, but not the ones you throw?” In the future, Rabbi Levi expounds on how the gems of Jerusalem will be used to perpetuate peace. “R. Levi said: ‘In the future, the area of Jerusalem, measuring twelve by eighteen miles, will be full of precious stones and pearls. For in this world, if a man owes his neighbor something and he says to him, ‘Let us go and be judged by the judge,’ at times the judge makes peace between them and at times he does not make peace between them, and the two do not come out satisfied. But in the future to come, if a man owes his neighbor something, and he says to him, ‘Let us go and be judged by King Messiah in Jerusalem,’ as soon as they reach the outskirts of Jerusalem they will find them full of precious stones and pearls, and he will take two of them and say to him, ‘Do I owe you more than these?’ And the other will answer him, ‘Not even this much! Let it be forgiven to you, let it be left to you!’ ”13 (Pes. diR. Kahana, ed. Mandelbaum, pp. 299-300). Today’s precious stones were formed from the immense build-up of pressure and heat in volcanoes and underground chambers and chasms. Thus, they are small in size and few in quantity. The Bible describes a time when tremendous heat and pressure will be released (II Pet. 3:10-13), as God transforms the earth from its millennial condition into its new eternal state. Thus we believe that this immense heat will naturally produce these precious stones in great abundance and size. If you enjoy precious jewels, you will be in Heaven! Won’t you? The earth will radiate with an unfathomable beauty! Philip Moore

THE NEW JERUSALEM

John the revelator tells us of his eyewitness of the New Jerusalem: “And I John saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Rev. 21:2-3 KJV).
The New Jerusalem has been in existence since Jesus began to build mansions there for the believers after He left the earth in 33 AD. He once told the apostles, as it is written to us: “Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also” (John 14:1-3 KJV).
At the Rapture, seven years before the millennium starts, believers will get their first chance to enjoy this completed city, soon to be on Earth! Once the New Heavens (cosmos) and Earth are created, then the city will be brought down to be the center of the world, for us to enjoy forevermore, as John saw: “...the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven....” (Rev. 21:2 KJV).
During the millennial kingdom, this city was suspended above the Earth. Those who received resurrection bodies at the Rapture will enjoy free access to it. This includes both Old Testament believers like Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and us New Testament folks, who are alive when Jesus removes us before the Antichrist’s reign. We shall travel back and forth between the city and the Earth below, administrating the Earth and angels (I Cor. 6:2-3). As Jesus promised, He would make us rulers over cities (Luke 19:16).

THE MILLENNIAL PEOPLE GET THEIR NEW BODIES
AND WE WILL LIVE WITH THEM FOREVER!

Of course, during the time of the millennium, mortals with extended life spans would have lived on an Earth greatly transformed, but short of the perfection of the Garden of Eden. Now, in the New Heaven, Earth and Jerusalem, these people and their children have also received their resurrection bodies. This occurred after the Great White Throne judgment, when God transformed the old Earth, by fire, in order to create the new one. Thus everyone is in a permanent state and all who are redeemed are permitted, in the eternal kingdom, to go in and out of the twelve gates of pure pearl created for the nations. The New Jerusalem is going to be the center of our universe. Eventually, everything will revolve around the beautiful city God will give to us to live in forever!

ABRAHAM GETS HIS CITY, NEW JERUSALEM, PROMISED TO THE BELIEVING JEWS IN THE BOOK OF HEBREWS

Just think, Abraham will finally get the city for which he was looking! In the New Testament book of Hebrews, it is told that Abraham was promised this city: “By faith Abraham....looked for a
city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God....all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them....But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city” (Heb. 11:8, 10, 13, 16 KJV). This city of foundations, spoken of in Hebrews, is New Jerusalem. This city is for the saved of Israel, as well as for the bride of Jesus, mentioned in the New Testament; that is, all those who have believed in Him, from the time He came, until He returns (from Pentecost until the Rapture). This is made clear by the twelve foundation stones, which bear the apostles’ names, and the twelve gates,
14 which are embossed with the names of the twelve tribes of Israel (Revelation 21:12)!15 Thus we can be sure that we will be in the presence of our creator, in a state of constant and perfect acceptance of love. Our old sin nature, which sometimes controls us and causes us to stumble now, will be gone. We will be made into perfection. The Scripture teaches: “Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we shall be. We know that, when He appears, we shall be like Him, because we shall see Him just as He is” (I John 3:2 NASB).

The Holy City, New Jerusalem, as illustrated by Jan Bish.16*

“And when thou art convinced be not ashamed to profess the truth. For otherwise thou mayst become a stumbling block to others, and inherit the lot of those Rulers of the Jews who beleived in Christ but yet were afraid to confess him least they should be put out of the Synagogue. Wherefore when thou art convinced be not ashamed of the truth but profess it openly and indeavour to convince thy Brother also that thou mayst inherit at the resurrection the promis made in Daniel 12.3, that they who turn many to righteousness shall shine as the starrs for ever and ever. And rejoyce if thou art counted worthy to suffer in thy reputation or any other way for the sake of the Gospel, for then great is thy reward.”17

Sir Isaac Newton (1642-1727)

If we are as He is, there will be no worries or sorrows, no more tears—for Jesus wipes them away—no more death. Just think of it, in the New Jerusalem, there will be no graveyards or monuments of marble to painfully cry over, as we have and do now. We will, as Jesus shone forth at His transfiguration (Matt. 17:1-5), shine. As Daniel promised to those who win many to righteousness (believing in the forgiveness of Messiah), we will “shine...like the stars forever and ever” (Dan. 12:3 NASB), in our new and beautifully indestructible eternal bodies.

WHAT IS THE EVIDENCE OF THE NEW JERUSALEM?
HAS ANYONE LIVED TO TELL ABOUT IT?

Jesus began to build this city and its mansions, for all of us, immediately upon His ascension to Heaven. This is where believers go “to Heaven” to be “face-to-face” with the Lord until His Second Coming and the subsequent resurrection of the physical body! There are some who would deny us...

2 Hal Lindsey enlightens us: “The word translated ‘elements’ is stoicheiov, which means the most basic element of nature. Today we know the atom is the smallest building block of nature. Now Peter says that these elements will be ‘destroyed.’ The literal meaning of the word ‘destroyed’ is ‘to loose something.’ It was frequently used for untying a rope, or a bandage as in John 11:44. In other words, Christ is going ‘to loose’ the atoms of the galaxy in which we live. No wonder there will be a great roar and intense heat and fire. Then Christ will put the atoms back together to form a new heaven and earth....” Hal Lindsey with C.C. Carlson, The Late Great Planet Earth, p. 179.

3 Genesis 1:26 reads: “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion....” (KJV; bold mine).

4 It is inscribed on the basic atom, which contains protons, neutrons and electrons. The electrons circle the nucleus of the atom at incredible speed, completing billions of revolutions in only one-millionth of a second.

5 Hal Lindsey, The Liberation of Planet Earth, pp. 106-107.

6 The article in the Hebrew newspaper, Al Hamishmar, July 26, 1985, speaks of Newton’s conviction of a new physics in the New Jerusalem. The long-term time spent in space on our space shuttle flights justified this assumption. There are many health benefits which are gained in a weightless environment. Some believe that our present gravity, which kills if you fall more than a few feet, was part of the curse put on the ground in the Garden (Gen. 3). Jim Irwin, the Apollo 15 astronaut who walked on the moon, told me of the incredible mental clarity he experienced in weightlessness.
